| Takeshi Shudō, the original writing director for the Pokémon anime, died on Thursday, October 28th, 2010. In honor of him, I decided to create a shiny Lugia doll- the Pokemon he created. He also wrote the first episode, and many great episodes afterwards, so I feel he deserved some form of honoring in the wake of his passing. He was a major part of many people's childhoods. Rest in peace. Though its hard to see in the picture, the doll actually sparkles and stands 16 inches high with a 28 inch wingspan (though this may vary very slightly from one doll to another). You can buy one for 45 dollars. I'll be sending 40% of the money from each purchase to Headway, which is an association working to help people who've suffered brain injuries, like the one that killed Mr. Shudō. The doll you receive is dated, signed, and numbered, and is my personal thank-you to you for helping me donate money to their cause in Mr. Shudō's memory. That's "the power of one". |
